Andy Ferrera

Andy Ferrera, a Woodstock resident for the last 15 years, a native of Niles, IL and a married father of two, holds the position of Judge Advocate with the American Veterans Alliance.

Andy Ferrera served in the USMCR from 2000-2006 and was activated for the Iraq War in 2003 with MWCS-48, Great Lakes, IL providing communications support for Naval Fleet Hospital 3 at Camp Viper, Iraq and Camp Fox, Kuwait.

Andy participates in several veterans organizations including holding the Junior Vice position with Marine Corps League Detachment 1009 for several terms, participated on the board of VFW Post 4600 from 2001-2024 and is a current member of American Legion Post 412. 

Andy is a small business owner operating Ferrera Insurance Agency in Woodstock, IL providing insurance for personal lines and commercial lines customers with focuses in the construction and hospitality industry.  He also participates as a coach for Woodstock Girls Softball and as an associate Cubmaster for Boy Scouts Troop 329 in Woodstock, IL.  In his spare time, he participates in outdoor activities.
